"The Lady from Chicago & the Pound Note," about Lady Hazel Lavery, from Irish America.
Louise Kennedy said that the sculpture that frames the novel was inspired by the works of artist Bettina Seitz.

Update for June and July
It was decided at Sunday's discussion to make our June book into a two-month discussion topic. It now will be discussed in June (Sections I-III) and July (Sections IV-Resolution).The format of our June book, Palo Alto: A History of California, Capitalism, and the World by Malcolm Harris, has changed from the edition available during our vote. Notes now appear at the bottom of the page, rather than at the end. This has extended the page count.
Details for June's Discussion
In June we will discuss the first three sections of Palo Alto: A History of California, Capitalism, and the World by Malcolm Harris.
